Press Release 1999

The benefits of dietary fiber are well known, and the less digestible a fiber is, the more effective it is. Fenufibers , Sabinsa Corporation's proprietary fiber preparation made from fenugreek seeds (Trigonella foenum graecum), was recently shown to be less digestible than other popular fibers.

The study was performed at the University of Georgia, and compared the performance of Fenufibers in the GI (gastrointestinal) tract with wheat bran and oat bran. Fenufibers digestibility was shown to be minimal when compared to those popular sources of fiber.

A copy of the abstract is available by contacting Sabinsa Corporation at either 121 Ethel Road West, Unit 6, Piscataway, NJ 08854 or at 594 South American Way, Payson, Utah 84651.
