Minghua Nie, International Marketing Analyst at Sabinsa Corporation, recently visited China to explore sources of various herbal extracts and nutritional raw materials. Minghua, who joined Sabinsa Corporation in 1998, holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from Tennessee State University. He has several years of marketing experience including research, international marketing and international relations, with particular reference to China.
During this trip, Minghua visited more than ten major business establishments, which included both manufacturers and suppliers of herbal extracts and nutritional raw materials.
Through detailed discussions with key management personnel in these companies, Minghua obtained a glimpse of the Chinese herbal industry in terms of its manufacturing infrastructure, distribution channels, management structure, competitive pricing, government regulations and technical capabilities.
